Hi,
After 8 months away I was pleased to come back earlier this week and find that I am 'filled with the force and glowing'. Just waiting now for the old man to show up.
My problem is that I have spent all week reading the FAQs stickied to the top and I am confused as to the requirements. I checked my main last night and confirmed that I have not completed what people are saying are 'required' items. Is this required list a dev published list or is it simply one that has been put together by the players?
Here is what I have/have not done on the list;
1 Profession badge - completed 31 out of 32 professions (only Pikeman was remaining when I last played the game)
5 Content badges - only 1 ever done (Jabba's)
3Jedi POIs *** - none visited
5Easy POIs*** - visited 2
2 Difficult POIs *** - none visited
So if /checkForce tells me I am glowing, and yet I have not completed the required tasks above - can I still expect a visit from the old man? Please don't tell me to read the stickies above (I have). They all clearly say that the above badges are required AND they all say that once /checkForce tells me I am glowing then I can expect a visit. Obviously both of these statements can not be true. I have however been playing since day 1, finished 31 professions, and have a high ranking in the Imperial ranks. Not sure if this makes any difference.
I would appreciate some feedback from you guys. All I really need to know is am I there yet (given what /checkForce is telling me) or should I go visit some POIs and get some content badges?

Pretty much your glowy because you had unlocked pre-changes. Good luck on your jedi grind.

Because you had basically completed the "holo grind" you should get at least 5 unlocks probably all 6.
Just take what you want train and goto grinding jedi.

However just so you know take 1 tree to be trained go train and then get another because if u take all 6 at the same time u will have the xp only for one. you will lose all the other exp for the other unlocks and will have to grond it.

I'm fairly sure some people got screwed by this when the Village first came about, but I think it was fixed very fast. Hence why it continues to circulate. If it were me, regardless of the truth, I'd rather not risk anything happening to my free unlocks and just do branch by branch. Any kind of screw up would really SUCK considering how long it takes to grind FS xp.

I keep seeing people saying this, and it's simply not true. I used my 5 free unlocks all at once, then went and trained the branches after. You're not capped on XP when using the free unlocks.
