Force Sensitive Archive

I was on Dathomir today and began to talk to an NPC at the Dathomir Outpost. The NPC didn't have a subtitle such as (an artisan) or (an information broker). The NPC asked me to retrieve an item for me and said other things such as "You and I will be great friends." and "I hope you have a capacity for mayhem." The item happened to be an ancient lightsaber, which I was to retrieve from a Nightsister. I went and, sadly, was killed. The mission, hough, was not the same as regular missions. The waypoint to the spot was blue. When I was killed it said I failed the mission. When I talked to the NPC I had the option to cancel the mission. The mission wasn't in my datapad as a mision, but as a waypoint. Also, when I declined the mission from the NPC, I got the same mission when I talked to him again, instead of a similar mission with different context as with most NPC's. Strangely enough, I got a lightsaber (it doesn't work) after going on the mission, but before contacting the Nightsister. I was wondering If this happened to anyone else. Thanks in advance.

so you had a mission that wanted you to get a ancient light saber? sweet dude, shoulda just bought one off bazaar.

Well, I was mostly wondering if anyone else had happened to come across this type of mission... 'cause it's different. And I already have a lightsaber which I got by means I don't know...

Most NPC 'quests' are regular waypoints, not an actual mission.

If you click on the waypoint in the datapad, it gives you a descrioption (usually)

ive gotten 4 of the same exact types of missions here are my rewards: sylish pen, decorative bowl, heirloom glass, power coupler (for some spaceship thingy). These missions are **edit**, all i did with these items were sold em to a junk dealer for 5 credits each, Yay 11000m and all i get is a total of 20 credits!

ok,yes jedi population has exploded since patch 10, and yes iam sick of seeing jedi run by me, i dont mind having the large population of jedi on the server as long as they "hide" like in the old days. make robes cause visbality, and give more harsh punishments for getting killed.

I dont have a jedi, however iam working my ass off to aquire one so dont flame me for being a anti-jedi guy just cuz i dont have one. I think the punishments should be changed to be severe enough that these new guys dont run around in their robes and lightsabers out. also increase payout on jedi Bounty missions for the Bounty hunters
making hunting jedi more attractive.

punishment right now is very severe. Its no slap on the wrist for getting ganked by 1 BH and 10 buddies.
Jedi population is fine. work hard and become one.

losing 30k jedi xp right when you start is quite severe-->if the padawan does not think about not showing his robes and flashiong his saber let it go hell be so far in the negative he wont want jedi anymore--> i am on bria like you so go to the krayt graveyard at around midnight os so eastern standard time and youll see imp jedi masters and enforcers who cheated the system that will bother you more i think
