I've played since the very beginning. I had grown tired of the profession grinding, just to have to xp grind ignorantly. There's not much fun even playing anymore. I try to play and have fun but I can't anymore. I think that the xp grind should be eliminated. Either that, decrease the amount of xp needed, or increase the ratio for the better. I'm hanging on by threads. I don't even have fun playing in space?!

Can we start a support/petition message to maybe make this better in some way? I don't want to get done playing thisgame, but its pushing me away. With such games as middle-earth online, and current other games that have been out. Some are looking better.

Take a month off, then come back and play with your freinds in game again. This is what I did and I'm all better now. I grind, but only when there is nothing better to do. Will take longer, but I'll have more fun doing it!

To win in PVP one must cheat, exploitz, hackz, and above all, have other pals that do the same. Once the foe is defeated, then go "OMGZZZ UZZZ SUCZ, LERN TO PLAY"

And so forth!

Last time I checked you didnt have to become a jedi to enjoy the game. Yes many do feel the need it is the only way to enjoy the game, as do I. Just gotta find a way and the strength to beat the system man. If you haven't all ready try using grenades. Even I am getting impatient as I wont unlock till around april but allready have the xp...

Rememeber there are other games out there that are fun. I havent played Halo 2 in like a few months, I'm considering going back while I wait to unlock each phases branch. Just dont delete your character like I did before lol...

Play the game and dont just grind... SWG is fun when its kept in perspective. Its a game not a life. If you find yourself burning out just grinding, go play with friends or do some quest you may have not completed. There will be no changes to the FS grind period and btw if you are burnt out on that...heh Jedi xp is a thousand times more tedious if you go at it from a "grind" point of view. FS is Cake compared to Jedi.

I completely understand all of your views...I had stopped playing for a few months, and I logged in to play again, and the bitter taste came right back. I'll try to see what I can do. The damn mission with the remote I wanted to finish but that is SO difficult. I have tried it 6 times with friends and guildies. But I keep getting killed by the tough guys inside the base. 2 hits and I'm dead, and I can barely takeany HAM from them. I am fully buffed, by doc, and entertainers, I eat and drink stuff. Got a nice sliced pair of VKs as well with full comp armor. Well I'll try it again sometime with better help. I really want to complete this mission for the bonus.

Just like some one else said that know one is forcing you to go for jedi. Yes you should work your butt off for it and grind for it because when you unlock not only do you become jedi but you get a free slot. So basically you get a free $30 for the swg cd (which you would have to buy to have another toon on Flurry)another free SWG xpansion (if you have jtl installed that is) and a free $15 a month which you would pay for the monthly fee. So you say SOE should just make it easier then it is now just so you don't have to grind or not put as much time into? Heh if anything I think the grind is perfect for all the stuff you get when you unlock. People need to stop complaining about how the system is and either not go for jedi then or suck it up. Hell SOE didn't even have to give us the free unlock with it you know.

Only people with OCD enjoy the Jedi Grind. Wait until Padawan. 15 MILLION Jedi xp to master something, all done at less then 1k per kill.If you think this is bad,you don't have what it takes to become Jedi. Their plan to keep the Jedi ranks small is working. Bye bye.

If Jedi is that important to you, play smarter.

That may be hard to take, but that's how it is. I had one free unlock and had gotten 2 boxes filled on my own as a TKM, Master Swordsman from September until December. I went to Commando in the second Phase I (Early December), and now I'm one box from filling my 6th tree (Survival IV).

Commando is not a template for people with no cash, but if you have no cash you're not going to be able to buy quality crystals/pearls to make your sabers great anyway. If you can't afford Commando, go Doc and work on senses XP and make money buffing.

I filled17 boxes in about 6 weeks, did it with about 1-2 hours of grinding a day, then played the rest with guildies and such. These forums are filled with many ideas about getting FS XP quickly. There are other sites as well. Get a template good for grinding, because you're going to drop all those boxes eventually to fill with Jedi skills, so don't try to save your character for later, you will restart with a new character slot.

UPDATE: Just got my 6th box, needed 417,000 FS Reflexes XP and got it all on one buff. WWWWOOOOOOOOOOTTTTT!
