I just filled my 6th tree today, and I didn't get any 'message' that i've finished all 6 or anything like that. I don't want to be standing around like an idiot waiting for the Old Man to show up without him ever actually appearing. How can you check to see if you're on queue for a visit from the old man? Last person I talked to said they got Old Man visit 2 hours after finishing up the 6th tree. I'm still waiting, and no Old Man. Anyway, just want to know how I can check to see if he will come for me.

You won't be greeted with any message stating you're now eligible for the Old Man's second visit. He just turns up a while after you've filled your 6th and last branch. From what I've heard it can take anything between 2 hours to several days for him to show.
I followed some of the advice posted here on the forums and shuttled from Player City to Player City a couple of times, went 1 km or so outside of a PC and walked around on foot a while etc. He turned up about 6 hours after I wrapped up my last branch while I was talking to a guildfriend in our city. I can't vouche that above stated tips have any validity, but then again they may. Might aswell be on the safe side, right

Logged in again the next day (24 hours later) he was there within 10 minutes.

he showed up for me about 7 hours after i completed last tree. i was running across town with my pet cat "scar" and i could see "scar" on my radar behind me, running in my wake. well i get to the other side of town and notice in my group HUD that "scar is about 200m away, so i turn around and it was the crazy old coot following me
he won't say anything until you stop and wait for him to speak. well good luck, now it's on to :
: for you

Sorry for the interruption i just had to say this.
THANKS ALOT!!!!
I read the title and now an old Vietnam era rock song is running through my head
"The old mandown the road"
Who sings this? Is it Creedence Clearwater?
(thought that was kinda funny, but really who sings this song? It is driving me nuts!)
