Thread: Does the village require CL80?

No you dont need lvl 80. You need a good template and good armor. I was lvl 80, I was master bh, master marksman, master rifleman. I changed it and now im lvl 75 master rifleman, novice smuggler and 4/3/4/4 bh (probably something else). I can easily screw krayt dragon with, but for this I have a good set of armor, a drink and a good rifle.

only reason you can do krayt is cause its 1 enemy and you root it. sit can be 2-4 or more at a time i think. if you are melee i say yes you need lvl 80 to do the village without needing help for all quests. ranged can get by with like lvl 76 or above if they are rifleman and have uber armor

Yeah, I'm melee and CL 56, and I just group for my missions now, no big deal since I group for the grind anyway. They are still pretty easy, as long as you are grouped with a CL 80 (in effect making you look like you are 80), but if you try to solo without being at least in your mid - high 70's, then you will be visiting the cloner quite often. Ranged types have it much easier now, they will still probably get wiped in their 50's, but I imagine they can be 70, maybe even a little bit lower, and do fairly well solo, as long as they know how to pull, use root, etc.

Unless you're doing the Crafting or Sense Quests, it's highly recommened you have L80 or Close to, unless you've got some friends who have plenty of free time to help you.

you dont need level 80 or armor or food. i wear a chefs apron and a puffy chef hat and am only level 63 with my obscure FS grinding machine template. if your not a idiot you will do fine

ok well let me ask this then, my alt char is about to become force sensitive.....


after i get visited by the old man for the first time, you know when the sith attack you, what CL are they? and then when you go to their camp, what CL are they there?

Pre-CU, I did several of the Village quests as a 4032 Commando and Master Marksman (and Master Politician). I solo'd several of the quests using my flamethrower etc. Then I took a six month break. Now I return to find good news and bad news. Good news: my Politician skills now cost me zero skill points, so I can master a second elite combat profession. The bad news: I'm currently CL 30 or 35, something like that. Then again, I haven't done the free respec yet.


So do I need to be CL80 before I return to the village?

Pretty much. I wouldn't go out there unless your CL 80 now since all Sith are 76-up. The only other way you could go as a lower CL lvl would be in a group. Then you may be able to go.

nope u need to be atleast 109, then its pretty hard but ide say u can solo it, just to be safe try 136
