Thread: Mellichae mission is bugged......

Has anyone else had the problem with thepower crystal not being destoryed? The first one goes down fine, but the second one just will not disapear. After having Melee defense bugged and having to wait over a week to get it fixed. We now find that 1 of the 2 red crystals will not disapear when it is destroyed and keeps healing the other two, even though it's condition is 0 of 40000. Please let me know if you have found a way around this problem. Thanks

I tried grouped at first and they wouldnt blow, very annoying. I then went back a couple of hours later and I solo'd the crystals (using a rifle, I am a carbineer though) and sure enough they blew fine. Make sure you dont attack any healing crystals. And be careful that u dont aggro more than two thugs at once.

Thanks for the tips..... Ihave tried just about everything including solo, logging and regetting mission from the force shrine. Solo, we can get three of the four crystals destroyed but always the fourth is bugged. Any other suggestions? I'm getting very frustrated here...

Not sure why you're having trouble but I can confirm that being ungrouped and hitting the crystals solo let me destroy all four three different times (didn't do a bit to help me kill Mell, though, lol). I'm Master Pikes/Swords and used an Advanced Laser Rifle. Took quite a few shots (I think I was hitting for about 600 damage per shot) but they all blew up once they hit 0/40000.

Make sure only YOU attack the crystals and no one else then once you have destroyed them, group up to kill mel. If ur buddies attack the crystals ur knackered so do it ALONE like all great teenage habits

It's bugged but still can be done. I had to do it, and we found a trick to make it work. If the person logs off, it despawns, he logs back and come to the mission, it comes back. We had alot of bugged crystal problems, even with me being only one that hit them. But one final trick worked. They Jedi in my group engaged Mellichae for a moment, I left and logged out and back, and came back to the camp. This caused the camp to respawn and we had TWO Mellicae since the other never despawned. But the old Mellichae couldn't use the new crystals that spawned, so we just ganged him, completed mission, unlocked, and the camp went away. But it worked.
I know, we sort of exploited the system, but from what we did, we should of legitimately done it several times over. But the bugs forced us to take the alternate route.

You know what, I know the devs are working the bugs, but like you said, if the bugs got fixed, exploits wouldn't be needed. Congrats on finishing the FS grind.

mine was bugged last niight, 2nd power crystal wouldnt get destoryed. so i did a relog on the server, disconnected, waited few secs and connected. The power crystals were all gone!, so i killed daxter and mellichae and siths. I got a waypoint to the nearest force shrine. So even tho mine was bugged i managed to still get through it.

I was Master TK / Master Pike and a buddy gave me his Laser Rifle to use for the crystals. It's imperative that you take out the crystals yourself without any help...

Anyway to reset or redo the mission if it was officially failed? What process would one have to go through? Even if they deleted the waypoints, trying to help out someone that did.
