Thread: Possible to Solo Melee Defense quest?

Ok here is my predicament.. I have one week until I move back on campus. Well right now for this last week I am at home with the parentals, who have dial-up.I got on tonight and there was at least a 2 minute delay on anything I did while being anywhere near the village.. not joking at all. My question is would it be possible to get up early in the morning when hardly anyone, if anyone, is on and attempt to pick off the Sith by my lonesome? Or am I going to have to wait a week for this quest? Thanks.

I don't really think so.
They just spawn too fast and in groups all together, you'd get overrun very quickly.

I had the exact same problem. I had so much lag that I couldn't get very many hits. The only times I didn't have lag during the fighting was after being disconnected, redialing, and reloading. That happened twice, and it was enough for me to finish. I'm not sure why that worked.

Probably not.
1. UBER lag.
2. Spawn rate (6-8 at a time)
3. You shoot at one - they all mob you. *screams* lol.

I'm on 56k Dial-Up, and I soloed it last time. Here's what you do, get a Avance Laser Rifle, can set up camp about 50m away from either of the village gates. As the sith spawn and run into the village, usually in groups of two, take a few pot shots at them to grab thier attention, then kite them a bit away from thier spawn point so you don't pull a whole army. Take them down, go back to your spot, pull some more at the next spawn. I did this Post-CU with my probot droid and I was just fine. It takes a while, but it can be done.
