Thread: Crystal loot nerf only affected some servers? a poll

Over the past few weeks, seeing such a diverse array of results with hunting crystals, I have to wonder if some servers got nerfed and others managed to slip by.
In the "where do I get crystals now" thread, some hunters are noticing no decrease in crystal loot drops AT all, while others are soloing 100+ NS's and getting nothing but meatlump junk.
Any crystal hunters who'velooked for crystals for any considerable amount of time since the loot revamp, please post your results here (before & after the revamp), your server, and if you have the Jedi Luck skill. I want to see ifwe can find any patterns.
My findings so far... I hunt Korga for color crystals.
Before the revamp: average of 4 crystals looted after clearing out the dungeon.
After: 1 crystal - never got that poor of a result before the revamp.
I don't have Jedi Luck.

I usualy hunt nightsister once a week just to break the boerdom of grinding. I usually pick up two or three maybe, ona good night since the revamp, but I dont know if I was lucky, but last weekend I pulled 13 from Ns. I did pull three color from slaves so a total of 10 damage crystals. Althought the elders have been giving me crap lately Ive been pulling dam armor shards or nothing

well...let me say this. I was walking in tat around bestine to somewhere, and some tuskens started shooting me, some imp npc stormies were nearby started shooting the tuskens to help me and i attacked one as well for fun. i wasn't even gunna loot him but i was like, wut the hell. and
tada, i got a good red crystal. So yeah... i would say the luck is still the same

I looted a colour crystal from Pirates on Lok....my first ever.
Dunno how good it is though, not had a Jedi to check it yet.

For color crystals, all that matters is the condition....the clears are where you need padawan to see the quality of it.

I thought they only way they can see that was if they tuned it. And if that is the case after they tune it they are the only ones that can use it

no, a jedi can see the quality of a crystal before tuning. That is why Premiums sell for a lot. If jedi didnt know what they were worth they wouldnt be so sought after,

Besides 1 premium crystal and one 290dmg mindpoison NS lance I've been getting crap lately.. that was what I was left with after killing about 20 elders and a couple of handfuls of protectors spellweavers and god knows what not..
been getting alot of heavy duty leather, armor shards and crappy lances with terrains negotiation +4, polearm speed +8 and stuff like that
And no I didn't solo them.. I have friends

Usually 2 -3 crystals a buff run and now nuthing execpt a WOOD STAFF no knife and a%%% lot of polearm weapons just cash and this woodstaff

I had a good day today , I was able to get
1 Sith Holocron
1 Purple Crystal
1 Yellow Crysral
2 Clear Crystals
all today in one buff session on Bria

before the loot revamp i was getting up to6 crystals per buff session (3hrs) and i play every day for at least 1 buff
so i massed well over 400 crystals.. stupid me decided to sell them off in backpacks of 100, wish i'd have kept 100 now..
i lot maybe 1 crystal a week now.. and i have FS-Luck.. but.. i spent 3 hrs at fort tusken 2 weeks back and i looted 7 tan and yellow crystals

On Chimeara I hunt NPCs almost exclusively. Janta's, Nightsisiters, whatever...

I'd say the drop rate is the same, luck, random.
Couple of days ago i picked up 3 crystals from 3 different enemies
1 dark blue crystal
1 purple crystal
1 clear damage crystal of "good" quality. (ns ranger)
the color ones were from a montain clan slave and the other from a mokk.
