I just recently as of the day before yesterday made it to the Village. I realized that a Phase shift was approaching quicky so I took a mission thinking I needed to finish it quickly. Well little did I realize untill afterwords that when I took the Melee Speed quest it would take several days before it would be completed.

Then I realized that I would still manage to get the mission completed just in time if the server reset and Phase shift occured early Thursday morning. That would give me just enough time to finish it. Well then the server downtime this morning knocked my schedule back to where the 24 hour mark to continue the mission happened when I would be at work. And since I don't get off work untill 6am Central, even though I would be able to do the second part of the misson today on Thursday morning when I got off work and would be able to do the last part of the mission, the server will be down and when it comes back up..the Phase will have changed so I an just out of luck.

What a horrible turn of events. I was kind of hoping that I would get a 3 week jump on things by getting into the Village just in time at the end of Phase 2 but instead it will be 3 extra weeks for me. Oh well I suppose it is testing me in real life on weather to choose the light side or dark side of the force. I could go with the light side and persevere and show patince in dealing with adversity or I could go with the dark side, fake an illness at work and manage to get my game time in and the mission completed for the unlock. Ohh it's very tempting but I decied to pick the light side, hoping I will be a better person for it in the end.

Sorry hope I didn't go on to long with my silly Star Wars drama but I thought it made in interesting story.

I sort of went through this awhile ago. I got sick of grinding so took a break. Well my break lasted little longer than i wanted and now i had to wait till phase 3 to come around.

For those that realy want to be a jedi and not just a 2nd alt, this is a pain in the butt.

This exact thing happened the previous phase 2, i decided to quit getting jedi until the last night, and I was forced to take the vehicle control tree, this in turn delayed me for about 5 days when the current phase 2 came around cause i was forced to do the 3 day quest and wait longer for the old man lol.

Personally, I would have chose the Dark Side, lol

Belive me it was very tempting. When people say the pull of the Dark side is very strong they arn't jiving. Well so far it has worked out pretty good. If I hadn't decided to leave the village and tried to push on through and call in sick to work and finish the mission I would have missed about 500k in Droid sales this morning. So I have some consolation.
