Thread: Is FS experience the same as Jedi experience?

I am accumulating force sensitive experience everyday and banking it but I recently saw a screenshot of the Jedi tree and it mentions Jedi experience. If I have millions of FS experience in the bank will I be able to use that to train Jedi skills once I become a Padawan? Is FS xp the same as Jedi xp or does it have to be converted again?

Thanks for the reply. There goes my plan from levelling up to Jedi Knight using only Grenades and keeping off the Terminals

Yeah, Jedi xp is only attainable by using a lightsaber to kill stuff.

Jedi xp is sort of like how combat xp works with creatures, you get pretty much very little of it compared to other weapons xp. Unfortunately there is no lightsaber grenade to be able to rack up Jedi xp. You just have to use the ol' lightsaber and go to town.

Jedi = Master Grinder.

To fill a Master Jedi skill tree you need over 15 MILLION Jedi xp, which you mostly get only by banging on things with you light stick at a rate of less then 1k per kill. This will easily take over a year to do.

My buddy got Master Lightsaber in a few months...the more skill you have, the more xp you get. Yes, the level 4 boxes are rough, and the Master boxes are pretty dang rough, but it won't necessarily take over a year to do.

Its funny how i'm exactly 8 days from getting my padawan trials done, and i'm almost 0030 in sabers. I'm going to grind to 0040 sabers then get everything else beause xp comes so much quicker.

The padawan trials are the 16 missions you need to complete to become a Padawan. If you have ANY jedi skill boxes filled you already completed the trials. If you ment that you completed your trials 8 days ago, I suggest you stop the grind and take acourse in grammer with an emphisis on tenses.

As far as my math is concerned, most people (including myself) report getting about 60-100K of jedi xp a buff session (3 hours). This may go up to the 400K-500K range when you getLS 0-0-4-0 .A power gamer can do the 15 million in months. Anyone who has a life is going to take a lot longet to master LS.

oh yeah, the boxes are 200K, 400K 800K and 1.6mil. I'll be dbl blade 4 this weekend when i get a couple days off soon. After that xp will be rolling into me, i'll be a knight in like 2 months or less.

Definetely not a year!!!

Lol I dont know where you're getting your math from, but its way off base.

Now I am confused (for the 37th time this month). I thought that you could start gaining Jedi XP as soon as you crafted your sabre - certainly before you completed the trials. Many of the guides tell you that you should try and getat least20K XP before completing the trials so that upon completion you can immediately train in the Novie box of Lightsabres (without the worry of visibility).

As I am still a couple of days from completing my FS boxes - only 1 box left to go I can not comment on the cap level for Jedi XP BEFORE you complete your Padawan trials. Maybe it is possible tobank enough Jedi XP to go and train 3 boxes upon completion?Anyone know what the cap is at this point? It must be at least 20K orall of the guides are wrong....,

When you can wield a saber you can get Jedi xp, although it took me like 5 hours to get the first 20k, so to get 60k to train three novices would take a very long time, Xp comes in faster when you have nls

Yes, you can get Jedi XP as soon as you have your training lightsaber. You can't FILL (train) the novicebox until you complete the trials and become a Padawan. That is when you are given the waypoint to yourindividualtrainer.

My post was commenting on how someone claimed tobe doing the Padwan trials and had already filled branches in the Lightsaber tree. That is impossible. If you are still doing the trials you can gain Jedi xp but you can't train in any Jedi skills.

No, he said it has been 8 days since he completed his trials. He worded it incorrectly, but that is the meaning I took from it considering the context.

The Darkside of the Force is neither Evil nor Good, it is simply an aspect of the Force, just as the Light side is neither Good nor Evil. The Darkside is an offensive and powerful side of the Force, where the Light is defensive and mundane. One is reached through emotion, the other through the absence of emotion. Hatred, Love, and Passion are the most powerful of emotions. Embrace them and you will be able to draw upon the true power of the Force.
