I like the idea. Gives some change on what people are grinding. I still don't think the devs will change anything though.

my problem with this is the xp cap for pilot, the master box is what 7 million xp, so a cap of 14 million xp ??? it would be very unfair for us, combat profession stuck with the 300k combat and 900k weapon.

I agree with you there. That doesn't sound fair but if they have a fair conversion rate or adjust all the conversion rates and caps then maybe. Didn't relize it was soo high.

If they set the cap to macht the other ones, EI. (random) Combat exp. 30:1, not 15:1.

Just want a little input on how you all feel about making star ship xp convertable into fsxp. Just a thought I had. Conversion ratio wouldnt have to be that small, something like 10-1 or 15-1. Plus it would actually make it fun to grind, at least for those who like piloting. Theres also the offset chance for a Black Sun Ace Helmet
Let me know what you all think.

It would make people start using JTL again, 10:1 would be ok, but I also think they should make ground profession combat 10:1 also.

what if your master and dont get xp any more?
Then they could make it so you could trade in prestige points which are largely useless atm...
I have over 3 mil PP... enough for 100 trips to Deep Space and I have killed multiple corvettes in one trip resulting in a new profit of about 50k points...
Just make the ratio insanely high... 100:1 is fine by me...
By the same token then though Shipwrights should be able to trade in XP at say 70:1 or so...right now they get bupkis...
