I have just a small issue. Tonight at the village there were 2 jedi. Normally everyone loves to see jedi but tonight they seemed to embody what everyone seems to dislike about them. For the most part the issue i have is the two jedi would stand right in the spot were the sith would spawn, in 2-3 swings they would be dead. Now everyone who has been to the village knows durring 4th phase its hard enough as it is to nab the correct sith but to watch them spawn in and immediatly die before you can even target them, well its just a bit lame. I am not going to mention names because this isnt about them personally, the issue is with these characters showing up to the village not to help anyone but themselves to loot drops. i am a pistoleer so loot drops are not what i am there for because i couldnt do enough damage anyway to claim a loot. My problem is the sith being targeted by campers who really have no purpose being at the village and them being killed before "Anyone" can target and hit them.
I am sure this thread will get the 1 star wammy, i just think there should be no reason to let Jedi back through the mist. They have graduated and should move on.

hahaha, i would consider it but two Dark jediknights in a group with who knows how many others would not lure many BHs to your call.

They are just griefers.
Not once have I see a Jedi at the Village and I play on Bria. Most Jedi have better things to do, on our server all Jedi Knights PvP non-stop.

We had 2 Jedi show up at the village 2 nights ago and stay for a wave. They stayed close to the spawn point at first andkilled all the thugs they could for us and tried not to slay the others till everyone got a piece. Pretty cool.
The wave was done pretty fast and I tagged a lot. I had to come back the next daytoget more pesky Pirates.

Some people are just rectal orifices. They were there to prevent others from progressing in the FS skills. They like their power and they don't want to share it. Fortunately, there are nice folks who offset the jerks. I'm just not so sure there's enough of them to get the job done.

If they weren't responding to /tells asking them to play nice, my next typed command would be /report. It doesn't matterif they're Jedi or not, and I'm not anti-Jedi, but I am anti-griefer (and so is SOE). At this late stage of the phase, those who still have to finish the quest need all the help they can get to finish before the shift next week. At least they could have done as another poster witnessed, just kill the thugs for you. They could help themselves to all the loot in the world if they would get rid of those for you.
If they were Knights, then they have a full Jedi template (at least 230 SP devoted to FS or Jedi skills), and do not have theskills to collect an appreciable amount ofnon-Jedi xp.This being so, theycannot use the excuse that they were themselves trying to complete the quest to unlock a 7th branch, because they couldn't subsequently grind the FS xp -- Jedi xp does not convert afaik.

Yeah i love it when they are there helping just to kill thugs and keep them off non-jedi but when they are there killing all the outlaws and pirates it get's pretty annoying especially for the people trying to unlock before next phase. Atleast they could do is just tap them once and go to next.
To me it sounds like they were griefing and just trying to show off.

They were, they were 2 hitting pirates it seemed and outlaws. The thugs were not an issue cause nobody wants those except people who dont need the kills. I just thought it was gloating a bit and they really have no reason to be at the village.

A few of usinvited our Jedi friends to the village last night, seemed to be an unusually large number of Thugs spawning... they were gang raping small squads of toons left and right. It was truely an ugly thing. I went through a 26 charge rez pack and got killed 3 times myself.
Another strange thing was that after the spawn was killed, at around 9:30pm Central time, the next spawn took so long that I logged out at 10:40... before you ask... we rode circles around the village looking for stragglers and didn't find any.
I was wondering if anyone else had this problem, or if it was just Lowca... maybe the presence of a dozen or so Jedi had an effect??

LOL ya right...you must have never killed any sith at the village during phase 4...the xp they give is next to nothing!
