well from the ways the movies and games such as kotor 1 show how to become a jedi is totaly different from ours. and isnt the old man trying to bring piece to the galaxy? if so whys he sending us on grinding quest that u must "kill something" thats not peace thats violence. i think we need to bring something like the old way out, but we need to do more of just quest misions toget a branch than a grind that we kill things. Like mroe badges that u must earn from touhg quest thorugh endor's dwb or soemthing as such
