Thread: Ugh. (Beginning FS-related)

So today the 2 Sith finally attack me, in the middle of a shuttleport where I can't see them. I killed one and the other incapped me. No biggie, I head to Corellia, the old fart visited me again, and the Sith attacked immediately. Took care of them both, looted and got a datapad that didn't work.
My problem is that my quest journal says I have completed the first three parts of the mission, which includes defeating the Sith. I have nothing to show for it, as I deleted the datapad and the crystal trying to get the old man to respawn.
I'm hoping, though not optimistically, that the quest will reset itself.
Any ideas or experience with this problem?

Not to worry. A similar thing happened to me. Instead of a data pad, i got a data disk which showed up in my datapad. Have you checked there yet? In any event, after I got incapped, and saw the old man yet again, I was attacked by 2 sith, killed em both. no data pad. Got attacked by another 2 and this time i got a data disk with the waypoint.
So, dont worry, you'll get it.

see my similara post a lil earlier... i've been waiting for about a week now for the old man to come see me again.

Checked there. Not in the datapad either. I'd feel better about this if my quest journal didn't list the Sith ambush as being completed.
Can anyone else make me feel better about this?
