Thread: Petition to change FS abilitys.

The purpose of this thread is to change are current abilitys! while we areconsiderd to have the forceand are glowy inside,My real feeling on this is we have been screwed basicly! I will make my point below very simple and will hope you toss your name to this Petition to help me and others to convince the devs to fix it.
You call the witches of dathomir force sensitive,Yes they are and so are all of us who have gained the ability to be FS,But why can't we use force choke? and of course force lighting? the nightsisters can! this is a major problem for me and all the others who are roleplayers. I see a lack of george lucas vision in the jedi revamp that has lead to this.I have some idea's listed below on how make being FS not just a grind but a challenge,
There has been ample "opportunity" to make being force sensitive meant something! The postives to being FS and the negatives below.
When obtaining the glowy FS status we should be considered "untrainedforce weilders" This could be a title also if we choose to show it! The Given is that we draw visabilty from BH's when we use it.
This could be given when we obtain being FS.
Some abilitys for this new title would include......
Force choke,Force lighting. The negative to being FS now could be that when using the said skills we draw "visabilty" frombounty hunters. now if you look at the quest for the village, This bring's new meaning to are quest and allows us to understand that the path to jedi is not one made simple To grinding a profession! Fun factor = 0
But what is done is done,Truth is we are deep into "the grind" and that probaly wont change,But add your name rank and serial to this post and a yes to change it...And maybe we can get some serious attention from those who truly can make this game alot better and more fun.

Nightsisters are not Jedi, but are trained to using the force... They didn't wake up one day and told themselves "oh, i decided i know how to choke people and how to throw lightning bolts at them"...
I read a book speaking about them, they in fact use "spells", whereas they are not truely spells, the words they say help them focusing the force (they didn't know anything about the force)...
Well, maybe I'm not 100% clear, but "no", no way being just force sensitive would give you any powerfull ability... Force sensitivity is good as is, you know (a bit) how to use the force to help you in some actions, but not more... Most come from the Jedi training

agreed fs is fine as it is i mean really how many fs could stand up to a mbh so would they have the same penalties as jedi when dying? losing that oh so hard to get xp?
fs is only a conection to the force allthe really cool stuff comes from years of jedi training

my biggest complaint is that the force reserved for jedi only...
yes the NS need to learn to use the force, but are they jedi trained... no.
there needs to other non-jedi force professions for character that are force-sensitive.
like in the d20 Star Wars RPG... force adept, dark side devotee, dark side marauder, force witch...

Well kinda agree with ya,we should be able to use he force when we become FS but only small amounts of weak force that take awhile even to get to work like one day u type /force which u actually can get a response from and it says "u try very hard to use the force yet u can't" then a couple days later is says "u feel ur about to use the force but r unable" then a week or 2 later it says "u used the force yet it was very weak...TRAIN STUPID!"...ok that last part was for fun....

I agree with you, to some degree. I think it should be a gradual thing, you learn some sort of force abilities as you progress in FS skills! That would be cool!

i like how the Force Progression is in the game right now. and if you are force sencitive it means nothing. i mean Leia was force sensitive all her life and never knew how to do anything. But she was definetly atuned with the force cuz she heard Luke call out to her.
Learning to use the force comes after a long time of training and hard work. like Luke did not know how even lift things till he got to the swamp planet in degabah. well other then that lightsaber he summoned to himself but it still was very difficute for him to do so.
the only jedi skill that i think could possibly be granted to us in FS tree is when you have 3 full branches full. then you can do a force throw type thing which would do alittle bit of damage but also slow a target down for like 5 seconds or less.
also it would be neet to have diffrent non-jedi Force sencitive professions but it would take awhile to program them in.

There are powers when you get FS. It's called grinding the boxes in Combat Prowess etc 
.
.With GOOD powers however I disagree. Then someone can just wake up one day, and say "I feel like using force powers" just get a few badges and bingo.
