Hey all, I have apparently 5 unlocks, I went to Noldan and he said I can train in, ranged speed, r. accuracy, melee speed, and melee accuracy, also enhanced refl etc. now, when you get novice in anything does it show up default that you can train all parts?

I had 3 unlocks, I would unlock ONE branch, go over to *mumblemumbleforgottenname* and train - when you unlock a branch you should see that you have banked FS xp of the appropriate type. There should be enough to completely fill a line. Then go back and choose 2nd unlock tree, train, 3rd unlock etc etc.

No, in order to *train* any branch of FS skills, you must have completed the quest associated with that column. If you took, say, vehicular control as your free unlock, you would be allowed to convert your XP into FS reflex xp, but you would not be able to train in any of the remaining skills until you had unlocked that column by completing the required quest.

I hope that makes it a little bit clearer. My descriptions sometimes just make the matter more confused :-/

I see, so if Noldan says I can train that next (after clicking what skills can I learn next) and it says it, that means its unlocked? alright.

Thanks

No Paemos will tell you what branches you have unlocked

As someone who had free unlocks I can tell you that you do NOT have to do quests in order to get the trees unlocked, nor do you have to spend xp to train the novice box in whatever trees you choose to unlock.

Go to Paemos. About the 5th choice down is the one that tells if you have free unlocks. IF he says you have them, go to Noldan, choose ONE skill and train it. Go back to Paemos and see if you get another. Keep doing that until you have all your free unlocks done. Any other method and you will loose the xp given you to use.
