I got all 4 boxes for a free unlock, now I am told its broken, did I waste my free unlock?

And if so, any way I can change that unlock to another tree?

No you didnt waste your free unlock and you cant change that unlock to another tree. All you have to do is tell yourself that everything is broken and it doesnt matter what you get. Thats they way I feel. Out of my 6 lines, the only one I have actually seen "work" is persuasion.

what exactly does persuasion do..

is it only with npc's ? or what ?

melee def, and ranged def work, so does vehicle control!

near as I can tell ranged speed is borked, and melee accuracy works fine.
