Hello all,
I was well on my way to Jedi (padawan, atleast) until September 2nd, 2004 when my wife and I seperated. As I was driving back to my home state I was in a car accident and was rendered incapable of playing intil now. I had a friend log into my account (with my full permission and me laying there) to keep my character active and my house full of maintenence funds. When I left it was the 1st time the village was ever opened, and I had completed the quest from the Captain to do the village patrols. I had a total tree unlock count of:
Combat Prowess: 4004
Senses: 0004
Crafting Mastery: 4000
So I have 4/6 trees completed to getting to the next level.
And that is when my life went fully to "poo mode".
So, now, March 1st I have come back and logged in for myself. I am now able to use my arms again and would like to spend the next few months (while i dont have to work and technically cannot) grinding the remaining way to unlocking. But I need some help please.
I dont know where to even start now. I have been told (and also read) that the game (Bloodfin) is once again at phase I of the village. I am totally lost as of what to do. I am a combat player, I find it more fulfilling to murder things than making a smart pair of sneakers. So I would like to complete my force sensitive path by completing the "0's" in my combat prowess (im currently 4004). According to the guide I have read I have to wait for:
Village Phase II to unlock Combat Prowess: Melee Speed
and
Phase IV to unlock Combat Prowess: Ranged Speed.
So my questions to you are this:
Is this true? I have to wait for the phases to come along again to get the missions/quests from the NPC's in the village to unlock?
If I just grind away like I was before to unlock the trees and keep converting my XP's to force sensitive XP, will I ever become maxed out on FSxp while stockpiling itin wait of the next village phases?
I really appreciate anyone who took the time to read this entire post and thank you ahead of time for any responses.
Thank you to all, and its nice to be back....and not in a hosptial.

1. Yes you must wait for each phase to pass to get the quests, and can only do 1 quest per phase.
2. No one has yet to confirm a cap on FS xp. The highest amount I have heard someone having is enough to fill 6 boxes.
3. Glad to hear you back, take care and should you need further help I'm sure you can find it here.

welcome back man, sorry to hear about what happened. for grinding the fs exp i would recommend gettin the best nades u can use and gettin a solo group and gettin 12-13k missions on dant for quenker lairs. u should cap on combat exp pretty fast and then convert that straight to your FSxp. Good luck man

I'm not sure if i misunderstand you, but it looks like you think you have to have 4 trees in ther same discipline. This isn't the case. As long as you have 6 trees in any combination of disciplines then that's fine.
I'd suggest you get Survival in this phase and Melee speed next phase.

couple of months to do nothing but play SWG free from the horrors of work
im jealous and I hate you
Welcome back tho
if i were you id take that other chaps advice .... dont bother waiting ... just do any old thing ... all these FS skills are next to usless anyways and if you plan on becoming a jedi there all usless at MLS
unless you think turning your swoop a little sharper than the next guy will vastly improve your Jedi gaming experiance
Good luck

Maybe not, but +20 to melee defence, ranged defence, melee speed and melee accuracy will be useful to pretty much everyone.

which would you say is more important for doing jedi, melee accuracy or ranged def? just wondering cuz i started my FS grind in phase 4, so doing it the fastest way and picking something from the first 6 phases i come to gives me only one phase 3, and both of these skills are phase 3. ifmy profsmake a difference to the choice, they are in my sig

Melee accuracy will be more use to you as a Jedi.
If you just want the FS skills to go with your current template then don't bother with accuracy as TKMs are so accurate already that they hardly ever miss.
