Thread: Preparing for Phase 2 Vehicle Control Unlock

I want to do this just in case I fail miserably at the dreaded Phase 3 Melee Accuracy Quest, which by all accounts is a right git even with a group, so I only have to do one more unlock in Phase 4 (Ranged Speed, still broke?! ) to get the final unlock in all 6 required boxes. Then the real grind for xp will begin!

Anyhoo, my question is what do u have to do for the mission? I read a thread saying its the Quarter Master but no detail as to what the quest involves.

Can anyone help?

Many Thanks,

ER - Vehicular Control - Whip (5283, -4226) - Focus Crystal, +2k health 2hrs once per 3 days [Does not stack with Health Buffs]

You will be given a WP on Endor, when you get there, a crashed ship will be within about 500m (it spawns on the overhead map as a structure) with Sith guards, when you get near to the camp the supplies will appear in your inventory with a system message, return to Whip (Just get close to him and they transfer over, but you must talk to him to get the next wp). Repeat five times. If you're having problems make sure you're at the right camp (sometimes they spawn quite close to one another). Some additional information from Jagger', missions are ~3k away from the starport, 7 sith at each (2 thugs, 5 pirates). Arteus47 has also put together some information on this quest, found here. It has also been suggested that you can just drive up to your camp and yoink the crate without fighting the Sith. If you have problems with your mission you can now reset the mission with Whip.

and if you have the pleasure of being a Master Ranger, you can camo on all planets and walk right by the Sith guards with no incident (not 100% fool-proof). I KNEW that long, long grind would be worth it in the end!

So do you have to fight the sith?

If the supplies just transfer to your inventory, why does the guide also mention being able to yank the crate without fighting??

Confused, but then again I always am

When the quest was first live you had to go to the crate, which spawned near the crash site, and use a radial menu option to grab it. Fighting the Sith was not necessary but was tricky to avoid given the fact they would probably aggro you as you drove up.

Due to people having various issues the quest was nerfed. Now all you need to do is drive up to the crashed ship and the crate appears in your inventory. Usually you can get in and out before the bad guys even spawn.

I did this quest the first time round. Two bugged crash sites, two fights with the Sith and then the rest were after the hotfix. It was a nice quest for a few days.

Easy quest and a nice skill to unlock.

Is this quest one of the ones that you can only do half on the first day and then he tells you to come back later?

I did it last phase 2, and was able to do it all in one sitting. No fighting is necessary (I did it unbuffed just by driving over the WP on a swoop), but it's very boring, lots of driving back and forward.

OK cool cause that is the last quest I have to do to unlock. Already have the FS xp sitting there and waiting to be used.

Same here... Vehiclular Control is my 6th and final unlock. I've had all my FS XP banked and ready to go for a couple of weeks now.

/taps foot impatiently

I can't even tell you how ticked off I was about that 3 missions-per-day limit on the 8 mission quest was (melee speed). I almost blew a gasket over that one.
