does Persuasion lower down the skill point cost or the money cost for skill training?

money cost. Lowering the SP cost would have the potential to unbalance the game.

yeah it reduces the cost, in credits, of training. I believe the 1000 credit level training became 801 when I got this branch. I also heard that it MAY help in imperial scans...i dont know though. I can say that I have not been overted or significantly fined during a scan since i got this branch...and I'm a rebel colonel!

Not entirely useless

I was in a bind yesterday (no buffs, broken speeder) and was running from a big baddie. I am an imperial and ran past a Rebel NPC spawn...They took the baddie down for me LOL It rocked seeing my enemy fight for me.

For the quest that unlocks this skill, I have cured atleast 8 people and I havnt gotten the unlock for quest? Is there somthing wrong? bugged? anyone completed this?

Talk to the person you start the quest from (Silvarra I believe, she's in the medical tent with more NPC's in it).

If you cured eight people you should have unlocked. Are you sure you are talking about eight people? Perhaps you mean you made eight cures for one person. Each list the robot gives you is one person. After you do five, you unlocked. After ten, you get a Ice Pendant I believe its called which has a mod of +5 to combat medic experimentation. Another five, which is fifteen altogether, gets you a rare plant.. the AurilianPlant which grows most desired fruit in the Galaxy that heals 1000 HAM (Health Action Mind) for 10 filling.

i figured it out, was on wrong side of village (other med droid w/o the lady there) and it updated as soon as i talked to her, so to get through my 15 people , i ended up with closer to 25.

I never took this line but a friend of mine did. Effect? nothing it seems, you get a decrease on cost on npc training, but other than it seems useless. I should mention here that jedi still train for free. Devs kinda screwed up on this one...
