Ok I apologize in advance for asking a question which has, in one way or another, probably already been answered on this board. But bare with me, some of these posts and FAQ's can be confusing.
Ok first off my story. I played SWG back when it first came out, I got really busy in real life and had to quit to take care of other things. Well last summer I saw the SWG cd sitting there and I heard about the 30 day free-trial thing they had going, so I figured what the hell? I loved this game and I wanted to play it again. So I played it again and got about half way to novice bounty hunter and than I started to have some women problems followed by some family problems. So once again I had to regrettably give up SWG. Well now two of my real life friends have talked me into getting back into SWG. We are all gonna start clean on a new server. And of course, I want to be a jedi 
Ok first question I have is this: My template I wanna use is TKM, MSM, and Medic 4040. Will this be an efficient xp grinding template? I want to get to jedi as quickly as I can. So even better, if there was a way I could make good/quick money (which I don't know of any, because I'm a newb)I would go TKM, Commando 4000, and Medic 4040.
Alright second question. How do you know which of the professions you need to master to get the unlocks? I really don't wanna spend 22 weeks doing my phases (I will if I have to but who wants to do that?) I read with 2 free unlocks if you do it right, you can cut it down to 10 weeks.

Go to the sticky above ^. You have to go through the phases now...not a choice, and the quickest way is the nade grind for commando to get you fs xp for each branch you unlock. There are no holo prof anymore, nor free unlocks unless your character was here when the holo grinding was happening. The guid above will explain it all.
