Thread: No Phase 1 for me

I was going over my FS branches to see what I would unlock

Melee Speed(Phase 2)

Vehicle Knowledge (Phase 2)

Ranged Defense (Phase 3)

Melee Accuracy(Phase 3)

Melee Defense(Phase 4)

Healing (Phase 4)

No phase 1 quests.

Only bad thing I see here is that at 3 weeks per branch it will be 21 weeks before I can complete the village. That means it will be December before I unlock a Jedi. Bum deal.

i've heard tell that the Ranger Defense option may not be the best, since you can get a wicked saberblock with the LS skills you earn as a paddy (or knight, not sure).

I'd skip the ranged defense.

From what I hear the FS skills while might be "nice" are not that big a deal so I would go with a faster route and less desireable boxes personally.. oh wait I am

Good point here.Personally, once a phase hits, I look at the quests in the Jedi Revamp sticky, read em through, find out which one would be most enjoying (who cares what skill it gives), andgrind the specific skills needed to do the quest.

Since most FS skills are pretty much pointless once the whole jedi thing hits (except maybe melee def, mel acc, mel spd) I'd just pick something and get it for the unlock. I'd love to pick and choose more desirable fs branches but when you think about how unnecessary some skills are in the long run, taking a quest every phase is thebest way to do it.

Doing it this way has actually helped me enjoy other profs along the way and thus making the whole game more enjoyable.

My template is:

Ranged Def (3)* Melee Def(4)* Persuasion (1, current)* Melee Speed (2) Luck (3) Ranged Speed (4)

*completed/unlocked

well these FS skills may seem pointless to you but they are quite helpful because when you are a padawan you begin to start losing other skills and these padawan skills stay with you i believe till you are a knight

It may be alittle longer, but I agree, as I understand it, these skills stay with you. After looking through the forum stickies, I have concluded that these 6 will be best suited. (That, and I wont have to do do alot of crafting.)

Really effectivesaber block does not come along until Master Lightsaber. Ranged BH's prefer padawans for this reason, so if one of them takes a potshot at you, +20 FS Ranged Defence can and will be your friend.

When that BH/MPistoleer has +155 to acc, or the BH/MCarbineer has +190 to acc...that +20 ranged def isn't going to mean jack. Staying off the terms is priority number one...and if you do that, you will not be shot at for that ranged def to even matter.

Every little bit helps, every little bit helps. Especially if your new BH friend is a dabbler, BH/MNothing. I figure any way you can stack the deck in your favour (legally!) you should. I completely agree with staying off the terms, but if that Kungashould suddenly pop up when your combat queue is 4-deepwith saberhits, you may not have a choice.

Why not just promis to go back and grind out the proper boxes once you hit knight. Gives you something to do.
