I was wondering how you get credit if your in a big group for the mission. Do you have to loot your own data disk or whatever to deactivate the shield or just help out one person with one base. Thanks!

To get credit as part of a group, you must either:
a) Power down the shields AND kill 5 or more thugs.
b) Power down the shields AND die
c) Escort the thug leader back to Aurilla
Doing any of the above will net you credit so long as the mission is completed successfully.Thus, only a maximum of two people can get credit for one mission (one powers down the shield, the othercaptures the commander)Oh, and it should go without saying, but, to get credit for this mission you have to have taken it from Sarguillo before you leave Aurilla.

Is it possible to do the quest with myself (master swordsman) and a friend (master rifleman)?

Yes it is . there is a guide somewhere on here that explains the despawning of the Sith (like 5 mins) it goes in a wave. Then run in and follow the steps. I did it with a fellow guilde and we got through it on the second attempt. First attempt didnt read the guide walked into a slaughter LOL

my housemate did this quest solo. at the time he did it he was master swords/master doc. killing sith thugs is relatively easy, providing you keep them intimidated (and if you are a melee prof, keep them in melee range).
