Now I understand that the CU will affect the Grind making it harder to get the FS exp but I have recently heard people saying how the CU will affect the exit question making it near impossible to finish. why is that ? any ideas ?

It was in the Jedi forums one of the "I hate jedi that are not me posts" someone said that after the CU the exit quest will keep to many more people from making jedi...
just wondering I will have the XP done in like a week but Have to wait out the phases and was curious if anyone could see where this would be a problem..
thanks

My take on it is the CU will make it much harder to kill big mobs. In that sense then yes Mellichae will probably be much harder to kill. Those of you around long enough think back to killing Krayts without buffs. It took 15-20 with pets to tank and lots of cooperation and teamwork.
Having not read the info on the CU I would guess that Mell will be harder because we will be weaker.

Mel is going to be loads of fun if he remains at full strenght after the CU. He can be a drag now, even with full buffs. Someone bolo'd their exit mission on Naritus this last weekend. Instead of just dying, they burst ran all the way back to Coro, with Mel in tow. Since no one had a clue where his crystals were, he was free to heal from them any time he wanted, while he laid waste to most any player that actually stood against him or just came near. Loads of fun
Talk about clone zerging...
If the NPCs aren't re-balanced as part of the CU, then the exit mission, the phase 3 quest "Capture the commander of an enemy base" and anything in phase 4are going to be apita to get done.

One of the last ones I did months ago, before it became vogue to bring a couple knights to kill Mell. We were close to Bestine and when it started going badly one of the group trained him to Bestine. I tipped all the nice troopers that finished off Mell.

While it may feel "harder" i don't think it will be so.
If you've ever played EQ2 or WoW, you'll see mobs that are the equivalent of Krayts and mobs like Mell, being soloed still. It's all about how quickly you learn to adapt to the new system, and how easily you pick it up and learn to run with it.
I have a feeling you'll most likely find the game a lot easier to play with the CU than it is currently. It'll certainly feel a lot more rewarding.
