Thread: Is anyone else killing Pickets in their dreams?
Anyway, I do have a constructive side to this post. Obviously Picket, Bols, and Thunes are great for getting FS xp as they are CL80-82 and don't aggro. Also I like that they're a good size and can easily be targeted in a crowd. And who doesn't like Dantooine? Question is, are there other spawns on other planets just as ideal to grind xp than pickets? If so, please tell me as I'd love to spend a day or two of the week grinding on Lok or Yavin4, that would be like a vacation.

man, that's gonna be a long 9 weeks. So you got all your FS boxes filled in 6 weeks?, impressive.
However, to answer your question, I've found a few spots that are pretty good when I can't stand the lag on Dant:
Tatooine is good, grab Dewbacks (don't get the "Swarming" dewbacks... because they do actually swarm
). I hear bantha's are good too, and excellent for anyone who needs a bunch of Wooly Hide.Rori is excellent as well, grab Torton missions (any but Ravenous). They're huge things, but with a good group the fall fast. Nudfuh's (sp) are good as well, but because of their higher resists, they take a bit longer to kill.
Gurks on Lok are cool too, always the chance of a Gurk King spawning too (I haven't seen one in a while though...)
If you have no choice but Dant, I only grab Bol missions. The Pikets are social, so they swarm and wipe most pick-up groups. Thunes have high resists, and take too long to kill, and a stray Hostile Thune Mother is all it takes to ruin a perfectly good grind.
Those are the only other planets I've visited to do serious grinding, but the change of scenery makes it slightly less tedious to grind.

The MO does seem to be the gathering spot though.
Yes i have about 5 more weeks until i get jedi due to phases. But Dantooine is the worst place to grind. Missions spawn bad lag and to many agros while on the way to the mission. What I usually do is look at my friends list send 3 or 4 fs grinders a tell. Say 2 of them can come so thats 3 of us. Then I go to dantooine mining outpost and say "hunting group on yavin4 5 slots left pst for invite". Then when i geta nice sized group i meet the rest of the group on yavin4 we get mamines,tybis, or magwax missions to the east or something. Yavin4 is a great place to hunt because
a jedi can fly over some water nearby if a bounty hunter comes.
Not alot of agressive animals besides snakes and klinicks.
flat terrain making it easy to get from place to place.
