So, you complete the Padawan trials. You open your second character slot. What to do with it? With the long Jedi grind ahead of you, perhaps you don't have time to level up another character, so...

Well, what if you have a character on another server that you have worked hard to level up? COULD you pay for the character transfer service to MOVE that character into that newly opened second character slot?

Has anyone tried this?

Well, that's dissapointing. It's an open character slot and you would think that you could do it, especially since they make money on the transaction anyway. So I take it you tried it and was denied, eh?

You can't tranfer "force" sensitive or Jedi toons at all.

Your second slot is tied to your unlocked Jedi - so, even though your second toon is not "fs" - it is tied to a force slot - so no transfer.

I believe they did this to stop players from leveling a Jedi on a low pop server, then move it to a high pop one....

Oh - most Jedi unlockers turn their second slot into a support toon, ie: chef/dancer/doc/crafter

or make it uber crystal hunter toon.

actually, i disagree.... if this had been before patch 9, id say no... the characters are linked, and can not be seperated... however, since then, they are not really linked... can you can freely delete your alt as much as you want without interfering with your jedi. So theoretically, you can transfer a character to replace your jedi alt... worth a try, but only SOE has a sure answer...

Right, that's what I am talking about. Not moving the Jedi, or the alt slot at all. But rather, once the second slot is open, moving a character you have created and built up on a different server TO the newly opened second slot. That way, you can use both of your hard earned characters on the same server.
