hey i jsut ran some number on waht ill need normal xp wise to get the 1st skill box in the FS tree.
Combat xp 3:1 so 150000x3=450,000(not bad) but now to convert that down to normal xp
so 450,000x10= 4,500,000, lol am i converting this right? beacue that seems like ALOT for the 1st box, and it almsot double each box so at the end (450k) that is 450kx3x10= a wopping 13.5 mil, WOW, guide says i have to grind 6 trees so that comes out to am painstaking 192,000,000, WOW. there is no way i can be converting this right, can i?

I would refer to the stickies if I were u but here is a rough rundown how the conversion works:

combat xp 3:1

so for every 3 points of combat xp u get, u get 1 point of FS xp...

example: u have 150,000 combat xp divide that by 3 = u get 50,000 FS xp

so in math terms u need 1,225,000 FS xpfor 1 tree.. U need a total of 6 trees

so 1,225,000 x 6 = 7,350,000

now this is not including the novice boxes for FS in which u add another 50,000 FS xp for each novice u need

so enjoy ur grind...and remember to be patience that is the key to FS grinding my young padawan...

You need to divide, not multiply...god if we multiplied for the conversion ratio everyone would be Jedi by now hehe

BTW the caps for most professions(if not all?) are 300K for combat xp and 1,200,000 for weapon xp

Check your exp requirements number... 450K is for the 4th box

175K of FS exp for first box (after Novice), 250K for 2nd, 350K for 3rd, and 450K for 4th... like the above post says 1.225 Million FS exp per branch, and yuo need 6 total (so 73.5 million regular weapons exp that converst at 10:1... still a lot, but not 192 million )

wait wait wait, one person is saying divide, one mulitply, could any1 run down the xp ill need for the 4 boxes at 175,250 350 and 450? im not getting the divide thing.

K lets try to explain this in a different way.....

There is 4 boxes to make 1 tree each box gets higher and higher to fill:

1. box 1 (after novice) = 175,000 FS xp

2. box 2 = 250,000 FS xp

3. box 3 = 350,000 FS xp

4. box 4 (last box to complete a tree) = 450,000

so if I add all these 4 boxes: 175,000 + 250,000 + 350,000 + 450,000 = 1,225,000 FS xp needed to complete 1 tree. U need to multiply 1,225,000 x 6 = 7,350,000 to get 6 trees filled to move on to the trials

The conversion ratio

combat xp 3:1 for every 3 points of combat xp u turn in it equals 1 point of FS xp

example: 150 combat xp divide that by 3 = u will get 50 FS xp

weapon xp 30:1 same rules apply...for every 30 points of weapon xp u turn in it equals 1 point of FS xp

example: 900,000 weapon xp divide that by 30 = u will get 30,000 FS xp

Thats is the most simplest way I can explain this bro....all I can say is read songouki sticky on FS to get a better grasp on how the FS grind works.
