Force Sensitive Archive

Hi, i logged on today and after about 10 mins, 2 sith shadows ran up to me and attacked me, they incaped me quickly, as they were level 70+ and my /con said instant death. after i recovered, i got my LLC andi found em about 100m from me, i sniped them one by one, their weapons hit very weak, so i took down one, looted her, i got a "Waypoint Datapad", i tried to use it and it said u cant make sense of the info, so i killed the next one and he had no loot. i checked my quest journal and under FS quests its says "Sith Shadow Ambush" with a check mark next to it. So it seems i completed this part but why didnt the datapad work? should i wait for another sith ambush or is there a new step i gotta take now?
