Although I have been playing fora year, I feel like a noob in a new game when it comes to the Jedi Revamp. Constantly asking questions of my guildmates about it. The one question I put to you all now is .... Does a Jedi have to have the Force Sensitive skills when he becomes a Padawan. I believe the answer is yes, however I could be wrong. One of my guildmates thinks you do not have to have the Force Sensitive skills to be a Padawan or better. I tried searching the foruims in vain. if you know of a thread please post it. Please also post any helpful information to those of us lost amongst the cosmos with helpful insights and tips. Thank you kindly for your time.

Read the guides stickied above. If you didn't unlock before patch 9, you cannot get to Padawan without 6 branches of FS skills.

For the sake of understanding let me clarify my question. AFTER you become padawan and start up the Jedi Skill trees, do you STILL have to have the FS skills.?

Yes & no.
If you unlocked between patches 9 & 10 (which I suspect you did not) then you would have been able to begin your padawan trials without mastering 6 branches of Force Sensetive Skills but this is something of a distraction as it will effect a small minority of players and happened a while ago.
Now I presume your are 'glowing with the force' or working towards that so Force Sensetive Skills ARE NOW a pre-requisite for becoming Jedi Initiate & then Padawan. Think of it like needing to master Marksman before you can become a Rifleman, Pistoleer, Carbineer etc...

Bah.
No, when the Jedi revamp came out, they were "converted" and had to choose 24 FS skills along with the Jedi skills they got from their pre-patch work as Jedi.
Ah, thanks for the clarification.
