Thread: About aborting village quests...

Is this even possible? Say I'm halfway thorugh one if the quests andI realize it would benefit me more ifI did one of the others. Is thereanyway to abort your quest from someone and go work for someone else? Or do I have to wait 18 weeks for the phase to come around again?

It is my understanding that you can not cancel a quest once you started it.
Not to sound mean or anything, but you have learned a hard lessons of doing your homework before you choose your quest. For everyone out there that has yet to learn this lesson, be sure to read carefully what the rewards for a phase are. Also, if you're not a really strong character (example I am not a master in any combat skill yet...) you might want to wait and read feedback on the difficulty of the quests before you run off the day of the new Phase.
Last phase(phase 3), I was eager to get in the mix with it being my first phase after becoming glowie. I unknowingly got what seems to be the hardest quest to date. So I spent around 2 weeks of the phase just grinding combat boxes so I could capture the commander without getting completely pwned
It's rough lesson to learn, especially when you're going to be doing ATLEAST 6 phases already if you want to be a jedi. One little mistake is a matter of atleast 3 extra weeks.

well i want to abort my healing mission. it sucks. i've gone through 2 waves and ive healed for bleeding, for people who killed sith on there own, healed for over 1000, draged people...healed tons of people..... ZERO credit. = is pissing me off.

I think you have to heal people in your same group. that also kill sith.
However I got terminal lag. I could see my groupmates getting horribly beat up and dieing, I could move, follow them, and see everything fine. But I could not heal them or talk to them. Like 10,, 15 minutes later I would see my text. or an out of range message. some times by some fluke or strange bout of shorter lag i got some heals in. after being at it all day. I found I did get credit for a very few.
I think some one in the SWG ointment has it out for FS healers. See the egg on face.

yeah i was grouped with 15 or so people still nothing. and i know i cant abort. i know that. and that is what pisses me off even more cause i dont want to even try the mission again. seriously.
why would i want to try and heal any more people if i cant get 1 heal for my FS missionout of2 hours of trying. and to think i have to get 50 heals. and if i want the 100 heals?! lol yeha right. my character has to be bugged cause this is stupid that i havent activated 1 heal YET!
this mission has to be mainly for docs because at a medic level im not getting any credit at all for this mission.
