If you do not intend to unlock your Jedi slot and play that character as your main character, then this course of action is not for you. If you have already mastered 2 Elite professions, you likely have little to no skill points left. In my case, I'm a Master BH, Master Commando, Rifleman. If you take a look at the guides written by the community, which are excellent I add, you'll see that you will ony gain marginal increases in skill bonuses. At present, the guide states that the Ranged bonuses and melee bonuses don't work right anyway. If they were fixed and they did work, you get a gain of just +12 points in each category. To get this, you will have to give up existing skills you already have to earn back the skill points to spend on FS branches. A cost of 24 points is nearly 2 full pillars in an given tree. In my case, if I were intending to earn FS bonuses to enhance my exhisting character, I would loose accumulated bonuses of +40 in speed or accuracy, etc. I would only gain back 12 with FS leaving me a deficit of 28 points. It would cost me 2 1/2 months of hard work so I could end up loosing these 28 points in the end. The bottom line: FS is not worth giving up your elite skill boxes because the gains granted are far too minimal, not to mention the time you'll invest doing so. You will do much better with skill attachments and power ups, if yo have not already reach your cap.
Otherwise, if you are just interested in the story based quests, knock yourself out. They look like a lot of fun.
