Thread: whips quest phase 2 problem

okay, i did this quest in like 4 hours of back and forth from endor to dathomir, and when I finally finished, I brought the final crate of supplies to whip and he gave me the focus crystal, the crate of supplies was no longer in my inventory, he thanked me for bringing the supplies, but I do not have a tree unlocked for enhanced reflxes in my inventory, so what does that mean? and I out of luck on this? i submitted a ticket tonight about it? is it something they will fix is the quest broken or what? does someone have any ideas? in my quest journal it also says I finshed it. help???

ER Vehicle Control should be unlocked a common bug is that a diff tree unlocks than one that should have

there is nothing unlocked i\on my skills page except force progression, only the skills I already had. so what can I do to correct this problem? is there anything or am I just out of luck?

it doesn't show up as unlocked. if you got the quest reward (the crystal), you unlocked it.


You need to get 50k FS xp to learn Novice Force Reflexes. Then you'll have another skill sheet to see. It still won't show up as unlocked, but you can't learn it anyway until you learn Novice Reflexes. I wouldn't worry about it until you get enough xp to train the first box in Vehicle control. If you can't train it then, you're in trouble. But I'm sure you're fine.

so what you mean is it's already unlocked, i need 50,000 fs xp to get novice, can I trade in the xp I already have to get novice, or should I go grind to get the 50,000 or both?

yes, you need 50k fs xp to get novice. If you have xp right now, by all means trade it in. May not be enough, and in that case, you gotta go grind more. Keep trading. You gotta get 1.5 mil combat/weapons xp to trade into 50k FS xp.


EDIT: and be SURE you pay attention when you talk to Paemos. Trade this xp in as REFLEX xp, not combat, or you will not be able to get novice Reflexes.

just wanted to thank you for all your helpful advice!! learning all this FS stuff and jedi stuff is very confusing to me even though I have been playing for almost 2 and a half years!......thanks for putting up with all my stupid questions!! and answering me so promptly!

one last question before I call it a night. so once I have trade in regular xp for FS xp and I see how much I still have left to grind, do I have to grind all the remaining xp BEFORE I can do another quest?

no. you just have to wait for the phases to change before you can do another quest. One quest per phase is all you can do. You can grind your xp however quickly/slowly you want.

Just because you finish the quest does not mean you've got the tree ready to go. Its not like that at all. It merely means you have access to that tree. In order to see the Enchance Reflexes to even show up on your skill menu you need to do the following:


Transfer any combat xp, Pistols, rifles, carbine, BH, etc to FS xp within the branch of Force Sensitive Enchanced Reflexes (from the huge Gwedo looking guy). Then when you convert enough (i think 50,000 Enhanced reflexes) you'll hear the "skill up" thunderbolt and music.


Then go to another NPC near the entrance of the village (on the other side of the village). He'll create you the skill tree of enhanced reflexes. Then there you go

as previously mentioned: if you are ever in doubt if an unlock was successful just use paemos' bottommost dialogue asking what you can be taught
