So far i've found iron and gas without any problemsbut now my questjournal says to find energy. What exactly does this mean? I've tried wind and solar but I can't sample for this only survey it. Can anyone help me please ?

you actually don't have to sample at all . . . just survey for the +50% concentraion. If its not working where you are, go to the exact spot that is more than 50% and survey, the jounal should update

Look for any radioactive. And just another piece of advice. When you are looking for a resource do an initial scan of every type of that resource you can scan for before chasing one. I did that and actually got two of the resources done without having to even move. Whole quest took me about 30 minutes.
