Thread: Jedi Padawan Temp..... Any suggestions? Please.

The /respec is almost at its end and I am still unsure of a Padawan temp to have for defense against BH while I grind. If anyone has some advice I could greatly use your wisdom in this. Thanks again!

If nothing else I'd suggest Healing 2-0-0-0 and Enhance 2-0-0-0, Improved heal, force run, and a short term root. Allows you to stay alive long enough to make your getaway If you can get some ranged defense from Defender then that'll help too

I had a jedi padi out run my speeder like I was standing still.. said it was his 4000 enh. My thoughts are you could stand and fight a bh beatstick or you could write down his name and /burstrun. At least until you have a decent temp to fight and have a chance.


That is what I'm going to do.

Thanks for the suggestions but I was looking for the Regular professions like TKA Swords that sort of thing. Something to respec to to start the grind. Sorry bout that ty though

I went master brawler/Swordsman for mine - swords has nice damage output, you can wear armor, and still get CoB which helps. I'd plan on avoiding BHs rather than fighting them right from the start tho.

personally i would go with Master Creature Handler. Your pets can tank for you while you are weak as anything. They will take the brunt of the beating and you will be able to grind solo without a group and not get visibility. You will be well protected by your nice high level pets as well. Stick with that . . .and maybe something ranged while you grind out the xp needed for your novice boxes. And though tempting . . .get 0002 enhancer first . . .then 2000 healer . . .and then start working your way up the sabers line.

i dunno about post CU but pre...TKM 3-0-0-0 BH was the jedi killer prof, many many many cry posts created because that little gem was possible in this game...heh

I'm still interested in this. Would Doc 4000, TKM, and Swords be viable? I have no clue lol

This is what I did and was a total success post CU. TKM / Novice Pikeman / Master Brawler. Then put all your effort into getting to LS 1003, 0103 or 0013 to make a decent gen three saber. Only having one box in accuracy/speed won't hurt you because the Master Braler gives you very nice general melee accuracy and speed [plus there is food available to make even higher] so that you hit like a 4003 instead of a 1003, plus TKM is about 70% as effective as master defender, as long as you don't take novice defender which cancels out some of TKM. Also don't worry to much about medic skills, as soon as you unlock take novice heal and your set. I found this to be a VERY strong grinding template.
