Ok, I talked to Paemos and got my weapon xp and combat xp converted into FS xp. Next I talk to Noldan, who trains me in novice combat prowess. I'm doing the missions for Dageerin because I want to learn the Combat Prowess: Melee Speed tree. However, I havent completed his missions(6/8 are done), so how have I learned novice combat prowess w/out completing his missions? Is it that I cant unlock the melee speed tree unless I finish the last two missions? Just a little confused, thnx

You can't unlockany branchto train any of the boxes unless you complete the quest for that branch, in that phase. You must complete the quest in that phase or wait another 9 weeks for it to start again. You can try to unlock other branches (one at a time) in the 3 phases in between.
