Thread: Melee Accuracy Mind Crystal quest

Has anyone done Melee Accuracy and got the prize?
I quote: "Phase 3: Combat Prowess: Melee Accuracy: Armed Group: Power Crystal, if grouped, a +900 mind crystal, useable every 96hrs"
This is the one i will be doing next and i really want that crystal. But it says "power crystal, if grouped". Does that mean i will have to be grouped throughout the entire mission? Grouped when i claim my reward? Or is it just wrong and confusing?

you need to be grouped through out the mission, BOTh recieve pressies..
and this is the next quest for me

Also, be sure that ONE of you in your group brings down the shields, and YOU capture the commander, or you bring down the shields and the other captures the commander. Otherwise, you won't get your reward of the Mind crystal for buffing.
And, this is the one I want for next phase, too
You'll find a lot of info on this quest and othersin the sticky thread at the top of the forum, v1.3 I think it is.

Heya!
Did this one last go-around. Tough quest, to be honest. I'd recommend getting the sith bases closer to the village, the ones past the Science outposts are for the challenged, like myself. Once you get the commander, the timer starts, and you don't want to lose any time on the walk. I did this with some others as a backup guy at first, just to get a feel for what I was getting into. THen, I completed it with a friend. You both have to talk to the quest initiator, both go on the mission, both return home. My partner brought down the shields, I got the commander. He died and was revived, but the commander monkey has to live through the whole ordeal. This one goes better with a few friends along. Don't expect to get one set of buffs, through on your composite armor and waltz in like you own the place. Use your head. Read the guides. This is a fun one!

Not from what i've read on the 3 FS guides i've read.

Another question: Does anyone know if it's possible to have more than one of these? It'd be great for two FS's to share each others' missions and get two each

Melee Accuracy is in phase 3: and thereward item is a "rare" color crystal if done solo. And a you get the focused power crystal too if you do it with another FS character.
Melee Defence is in phase 4: and the reward isan Aurilian Sculpture Piece .
And you can have more than one focused power crystal, its NOT tied to the character like the Hero Ring. BUT you only get it once pr phase 3. I still dont know if you can do the quest again, and get anohter crystal, once it comes around. But that will soon be known.
The power crystal, if your lucky, can be seen sold on the Server Trade Forum. They go for around 2.5 - 3+ mill. credits.

Yep been there, done it already. Is a real pain in the butt to do. You'll see plenty of threads on how to do it. Best advice? grab a jedi knight to go mow them down 
If you can't do that, get your group of friends to slowly pull each sith thug off, as more than 2 and you'll be hurting big time. The biggest thing I would recommend is be PATIENT.
Also if the guy who drops the shields intentionally dies, the thugs and other sith automatically despawn and the commander spawns. This is how I did mine.
Also before you guys go nuts trying to destroy the gates and turrets, get a CH to send in pets and destroy the turrets before hand. A HUGGGGGE help.The turrets WILL NOT attack the pets. so thats a freebie, then once thats done get everyone into position and dont be afraid to have your swoop right beside u to take off.
Just some tips to help you, it's going to be tough, but in the end it's well worth it. Believe me, the mind buff crystal is really nice item to have. I've used it out there grinding hard and run out of mind buff, pop that puppy on and go to town.

i remember this quest was the pain and suffering of my force sensitive life i remember going to the base and getting owned by the sith thugs also remember the run bk and aggro from everything on dathomir but once u've done it u can help others and give them tips,oh u feel great relief wen u quest journal shows mission completed P.S my first ever FS quest
