I've already been to the villiage, I've got novice combat prowess, and i'm probably gonna start serious grinding tonight....I have a question though...If right now I master 4 more professions (I already have 2 mastered) then would I get a free unlock? Or If I were to just master 6 professions (say I didn't have the other two) Would I get a free unlock? And also, If I were to somehow guess what my original holo professions were, and mastered them, would i get free unlocks....I opened the christmas holo and it said pistoleer which I never mastered...can anyone help me with all of this? Thanks.

There are no more free unlocks. You have to grind them all out the hard way. If you didn't do it before the revamp you are out of luck.

I THINK you only get a free unlock for every holo profession you've mastered, not regular ones. However, if you master that holo's profession now I dont know if it will get you a free unlock...

What happens If I opened the holo before pub 10, (It was pistoleer) What happens If I master It now, will I get the free unlock?

The old holo-system is GONE you can go through all the professions you want but you will never unlock a FS branch by doing this.

you get a free unlock on the 3'd holo profession, so if you completed 2 holocron professions and then completed pistoleer prior to patch 10on aug 29, 2004, you may get 1 unlock. The way it worked is that there are 8 holo professions. If you did all 8, then you unlocked, but if you completed 7 of them, you will get 5 unlocks, 6 gets you 4, 5 gets you 3, four gets you 2 and 3 gets you 1. I don't think there's too many players left getting free unlocks anymore though, most have probably advanced through the system...

HAH! i'm gonna get some unlocks.... well as soon as those damn sith shadows decide to show up. i did all my holos back in the day, mastered 10 prof's in total, then took about 6 months off from SWG. just got my old man visit last night, and am looking forward to getting to the village to see just how many i get.
