Was wondering if i hung out in my guild town, would that still spawn the old man? or do i have to be far away from all towns?

I shuttled from all the player cities on dant, to all of them on naboo, and he showed about 4 hours after I got the glow.

It does not matter one way or the other. The old man will come if your in a town or out in the middle of nowere. Some say it help to shuttle to and from player cities, but I didn't haave to. Just keep playing the same you always do and don't get to hung up on waiting for him.

During my first old man visit, i patiently waited at the guild town of a friend of mine, meditating outside the guildhall.
And the old man appeared after some long waiting. I still remember how happy i was when he came...

I'm so exstatic. I've been playing for 2 months and i finally got glowie tonight (April 24, 2005 at 8:50p.m. est). I have a few friends that got glowie in phase 2 but now i get to do phase 3 and on which means i won't have any phases where i won't unlock anything. Thast if i don't fail and have to wait till that phase shifts back around. Hopefully i'll get to group with alot of you that play on Ahazi. I'll be the only FS in the guild as of right now. So hopefully the CU doesn't mess us up to much. I have been reading everything about it and i can see that the devs will need to do a little tweaking (shoot major tweaking) i think to balance it even more to make it more friendly for Jedi. My character name is Ublie Nictu on Ahazi and i'm part of Carpe Diem < on Rori. Hope to play with ya'll soon.

hehehe well...friendly on Jedi seems to be a dirty phrase lately, just ask the multitude of whiners who think Jedi are uber on the BH forums. *gasp* yes you guys! 
I always find it funny they go out of their way to railroad people who pay money to be content for them...seems inconsiderate to me...
