Ok did phase 3 the other day and pretty much solo'd it..

while i was doing the mission and tried to take on the HUGE spawn of Sith Thugs right at the front gate...
Got my butt kicked!

Here is the trick.. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO KILL THE ONES AT THE GATE TO FINISH THE QUEST!!!!
I found the groups around the base and took out the mobs that had pirates and a single Thug These goups I cold solo as a swordman/smuggler with buffs and good armor..

you still get credit for killnig the thug and can finish the mission..

once you kill the thugs and get credit for thier kill you send in a combat droid to take out the turrets and then use your bike to kite the thugs away from the gate.. then rush in jump off bike and take out the gate..

Run away and heal..

then fly into the base and back to the commander.. you must be able to take some damage here... talk to him and jump back onbike.. and fly away.. try to stay within 50 m of him while you rush away from chasing thugs... eventually the thugs loose intrest and go back to the base.. i did delta base on Corbantis which is like 2k away from village and got the commander there with plenty of time to spare..


The key is you dont have to take out 500 thugs at the main gate.. you can take out the pirates and single thugs aroud the base and still get credit for the kill.

I did it with a group of 4...

my partner dropped the shields, my Jedi and I charged inside the base/got tot he spawn point...eveyone else agroed the thugs..Jedi goes out and agros thugs too....partner dies, commander spawns and I run run run run run as fast as I can.

Jedi rezes himself and provides me cover all the way to the village
