Thread: The Exit Quest and defeating Mellichae

Hi fello FS's,
I was wondering if anyone has a bullet-proof methodfor defeating this guy and his mob. I'll hopefully have a bunch of guildies with me (which will include jedi) for backup. Things I need to know are such as....Do i need to register a hit on Mellichae at some point in the battle to get credit for success, what professions will be good for me to have (also what professions should I bring along)and any step by step things we can do to mow them down....
Suggestions are very appreciated.

sry m8 havent done him yet, but will this guy be possible to do at all post CU?

Good Question.....with the emphesis on group play surrounding the CU. It should be with the right profession support.
However Im looking to defeat him b4 the CU arrives, so i require current methods.

sorry my apologies ther i jumped the gun,
to start take riflemen with you,
then you want the riflemen to take out the 2 green crystals
then take out the 2 red crystals
at which point you/they might agro a few thugs or whatever
if you just agro the thugs, cool
but if u agro daktar then take him out instead of wimpy thugs
ranged professions are good but jedi's are better ( no LS resist's ) on daktar/mel
then take out daktar
then take out mel (forgot the spelling of his name)
took like a few minutes total
and try to do it from a ranged position because if u get too close he might take u out before u kno it

and take a doctor with you who can rez you if you die. have the doctor just stand at the back without fighting cuz he will be your last line of defense. if you die and dont get rezzed, then thats mission over and you have to start again

yeah, ive got that as well, but i dont use it for pointless things where it doesnt need to be used (like when there is a doctor next to me). i'm saving mine for the jedi grind in case i get on the terms and die, that way i can not lose xp

Any ranged fightercan do the crystals. Having a doc available and LS resist PSG will get the job done. Oh TK, swordsman and anybody else with FS skills will get the fight over with in short order. I have done it 3 times to help guildmates make jedi. the last one took less than 5 minutes. Soloing the quest is for the slow witted types who think being uber is what it takes

Our player city is on Rori, so thats where i was when the old man came. So my mission spawned near our town(near Restuss).
I went from starport to starport tryin to find others to help me out, but couldn't find any. it was mid morning when i decided to do it, so not many guildies or others were on
i finally decided...i'm buffed ..wth lets try it
i was a Master Rifleman/TKM Scout 4-0-0-0 and a lil medic. I was able to solo the whole quest.
My mission spawned on a hilly area..near a huge lake/pond which Rori is full of. I was able to drag Mel into the water and kept kiting him with headshot3 when he was swimming.
was a lot of fun..and afterwards i coudln't believe i had pulled it off alone
