Thread: The jedi system are ruined! (not CU fault)

Is it just me or are the jedi system ruined? all to easy to become a jedi.
I think the jedis has gone to far... i rembered when i started playing this game when there was holo grind. Everytime there was a jedi all was like wow, cool, nice, whatever... That jedis did deserve being a jedi... But now jedis arent anything else than another normal proffesion.. There are more jedis than commands, rangers, squard leaders, master docters, etc, etc, etc.
In the start there was nothing wrong with this jedi system.. But now later on after i returned to the game after 6 months i see jedis with 10 bagdes, i see jedi masters with 10 bagdes. The jedis arent rare anymore. Before it also was like Wow a jedi DUEL I MUST WATCH IT!! Now how i feel is like "buh, another jedi duel.. how booring" I see more jedi duels than i see of normal duels...
I dont know how you guys have it but i think this totally sucks.. Jedis should be rare.. And not one of the most pupelated proffesion..

I've heard a lot people say they wished the hologrind was an option to still become jedi. I was one of em. Would be way more interesting to learn each profession.
I agree though with the whole too many jedi. I worked my butt off for several months and just recently got my Padawan. it's still fun to play him and walk around proud of the accomplishment, but it is tainted by the sheer volume of jedi.
but i'm still happy tofinally be one

I consider the hologrind being heck of alot easier then the current fs grind..
I wish I had completed hologrind instead of this one, but at that time i didnt really want to be a jedi..
Hologrinding was hard, but it was much more fun. You learned alot about all the different professions, and for me, spending a week grinding all the entertainment proffession was great fun just sitting at the keyboard and socializing with all the other, both holo and real entertainers..
The current grind, perhaps not as timeconsuming, really... But its so bloody boring..
But I agree with becoming a jedi overall is too easy.. It should take atleast a year of playtime to get one, and it shouldnt be all about grinding something.. But more timeconsuming quests..
The current phase 2/3, where you have to seek out sith, but after a couple of hunts, they cant find anymore.. Then you have to wait a day.. Those kind of quest are sort of interessting (sort of), but all in all.. It should be about time and patience, and not hardcore grinding..
Anyway.. Point is hologrind was easier imo, because it was interessting.. And not just dumbed down grenade throwing or ress/kill macros..

i agree totally. i didn't want to be a jedi during the hologrind either
a good way i think to force jedi to take longer would be to reinstate the hologrind. force all grinders to maintain each profession for a minimum of 2-3 weeks or a phase.
you would end up a well rounded player knowing all the professons and still be able to be a jedi.
