Dont quote me on this. from what i understand the answer is no UNLESS you have aCL80 that is willing to go through the whole grind with you. There are alot of mid to high lvl mobs that you must combat just to even get glowie and once you do the sith that you must defend yourself from are CL75-78.
The other option is to pick up a combat profession and drop artisan at least until you get to jedi and then you could drop the combats skills and go back to artisan.
Like I said, this is merely my opinion and not fact as far as I know.

Firewalkerman is right, unless you have a level 80 friend willing to help or a level 80 alt that you can logon with at the same time you will not be able to handle getting glowy/trip to the village/village in phase4 etc.
Grouping with a level 80 it is very possible, I just got my level 1 alt glowy last week, fought the sith, got to the village and completed my phase I quest all at CL1, but I had to have my CL80 alt right there with him the entire time.

I would say the others are both right and wrong . . .
toget a few of the badges you'll need some help . . . in the form of a CL80 person. Once you become "glowy" you won't need as much help seeing that you'll have to do get all the crafting XP yourself to trade and to my knowledge (though I've only done 1 crafer-esque quest being Luck) you should be able to do most of the crafting/survey quests without help though its nice to be grouped with a CL80 person to watch you back.
might be lucrative for the CL80 people to hire themselves out as bodyguards at the village ![]()

Like they said, need someone to hold your hand all the way untill you get to the village. Lot of the village quests are for crafting or other non-combative things though. Once you get there you can start grinding up the Crafting Force Senstive lines.

As stated before, its doable, but getting there will require help.
However, once you have access to the village all is well. There are 4 crafting quests, and 2 survey quests that will unlock the required 6 branches. The Senses branches that you unlock doing the survey quests can be filled using converted Merchant XP.
So its entirely possible to complete all of the quests as a pure crafter. Just getting there will require some help. You also might need some help on the Phase 4 crafting quest. I forget whether there is a spawn near the downed satalite or not, even if there isn't, its usually out in the wild, so you might want someone tagging along just incase.
The problem will be in obtaining the Village Resources for the Phase 2 and Phase 3 crafting quests. You will need tons of these resources that are a loot drop from the CL70+ Mobs. They also don't drop as often as they used to. So you will either need a ton of credits to buy them, or get some very helpful friends to get them for you.
