Force Sensitive Archive

I am moving servers which means I loss all my badges even my master profession ones. i will have to re grind a profession badge in order to eventually get glowy.

My question:

Does the profession badge HAVE to be an elite profession? with my template I could respec so I can be 1 box shy of a master badge, but it would be easier to grind the combat xp for say Master Marksman (35K combat xp) over say Mrifles (1million rifle xp).

So would a Master Marksman give me the profession badge I need?
