took us 3 hours to figure it out with the bugs and all.....have everyone attack the crystals, but they may only use RIFLES...this way it worked zero problems for me...and we pet pulled the little guys before we took on mel...he was seperate from daktar and we didnt have much problems with dak....just take mel and dak one by one...a full group should handle it just fine

You dont need to take 3 hours if you do it right.

First whoever has the quest is the only one allowed to shoot the crystals. Don't let anyone else shoot the crystals or you will have problems.

Pick any crystal for the first and start attacking it. If that crystal starts to heal then stop and try a different crystal that isnt healing. There will always be one that doestn heal. Shoot that one till its gone. Repeat same thing with the other crystals until they are all destroyed.

Now have someone who is good at it, pull the thugs that are around Mel and in your LOS while you are situated behind Mels camp. You dont need to pull all the thugs just the ones close enough to Mel that will agro if you pull Mel. If Mel comes while pulling thugs, you can try to take all of them at once but take out the thugs first so that Mel is only one left.

Now pull Mel if neccessary. He should be alone and easy for a full combat group to take down in a minute or 2.

Ignore Dakar and try not to agro him. You dont need to kill him to complete the mission.
