well atm, the easter dunni wont let me (and about half of farstar) log on to the server, so it could be going a bit better. its cost me a fair few hundred k of FS xp

i find easter to be a pointless holiday, but then again i am not a religious person myself. hope everyone had a good one though

Easter has it's roots in spring equinox ritual, just like April Fools Day. (It's the first Sunday after the first full moon of the vernal equinox, pretty pagen if you ask me.) In India, every rubs colorful paint on themselves and each other. In paegan Europe, everyone would be a fool for the day and commit debauchery. It was a day to have sex with everyone and partake in fertility rituals of spring. In the far east, they pay adoration to giant fallus.
BTW rent the cult movie "The Wicker Man"for and interesting contemporary murder mystry wrapped up in spring festivities.

april fools day actually came about when the franch adopted the gregorian calendar in the 16th century, thus moving new years day from april 1st to january 1st. Some people forgot the new dates and were treated as fools, mocked and invited to fictitious 'new year' parties
