Thread: free unlocks? and other questions

Sorry, I was unable to find any answers to these questions on the guides, but I did look hard...
OK, I'm a little confused...So far I think I've been able to unlock CP, R. accuracy but I don't know for sure...I did do capt. Sagullio's quest. If you can do a quest, does that mean its in the phase that allows you to do it? Like, would an NPC not allow me to do the quest if it was not the right phase?
And what's this about free unlocks and how do I get them? If i do, I guess I don't have to do the quests for that specific branch?
My skills are in my sig, do you think I should wait to even do any FS quests or grind, and just try to master pistoleer for a while?

The answer to your question about the Quest is correct. NPC's will only give you the quest for that village phase and you need to complete that quest before the phase changes. Training the branches you unlock can be done at anytime once you convert enough XP.
The free unlocks were for those that were part of the Hologrind where you had to master 8 certain professions to unlock your 2nd character who would become the Jedi. Those who grinded out profession to get those 8 were given credit by how many they did do. If you weren't part of the Hologrind or grinded out many different Professions before the village system was put in then you won't have any free unlocks. Grinding out the professions will not get you free unlocks either as it was only credit for those who grinded them out BEFORE the village.
