Thread: Grenade Grinding--off NPCS?

I know we can make great combat xp by using grenades on baz nitches.
Is it possible to earn combat xp by using nades on rebel/imp NPCs? If so, how does it compare with bazs?
Probably a stupid question, but thanks in advance

Grenade damage always translates to Combat XP. It doesn't matter what you use it on.
However, if the mob has high resists to the grenade's damage type, grenades aren't likely to give you a whole lot of combat xp per throw.

I've found a pretty nice faction farm (8 forward HQs) on my server, so I wouldn't have to pull missions. Even then, would I be able to make much better XP if I were doing Bazs?

npc's are tricky i have relized that you can have a swarm of 6 on you and the nades dont alows hit them for AoE, idk if its just me but after testing the theory. It proved to be correct.

it is harder to grind on npcs. when nading GBN you throw nades at the lair because you cant miss, however, throwing nades at moving targets can be quite tricky sometimes, especially npcs cuz some of them use ranged weapons and some of them run around like headless chickens. i would stick to GBN lairs if i was you

Thanks for all the info everyone 
Thought it might be nice to grind off NPCs and get some loot at the same time...but it definitely looks slower/harder

It is way slower. Npc missions are always slower for xp. If not everyone would be running around with millions in faction all the time since we would all do faction missions.

for me i found the downed ship from secrets of syrene to give insane amounts of combat xp compaired to amount of grenades thrown, time and work (expect for the time spent getting there)
during my act 1 quest stoped by there, grouped all the mercs together, threw a few greandes....out poped 150k combat xp....all in...a few minutes of work? but other than that baz nitches have been the way to go for me
