I'm doing the FS melee Speed quests - I got to the third camp or something, then Deerni always tells me there aren't any about until tomorrow - so does he mean tomorrow game time or RL time? When is it worth going back to him ?

Also, in my all professions tab i can see all the force sensitive discaplines - how can you tell which ones you have unlocked once you unlocked them ? Do you still need to earn enough for a novice box ?

24 hours real time from when he stops giving you new missions until you can get more. You can ask Paemos which ones you have unlocked, you cant tell by looking at the tree. You need xp to earn the novice box.

You can only do 3 missions per 24hr period. You do 3 then wait 24hrs..then 3 more then wait 24hrs then do the last 2.

So can you get the novice boxes before you unlocked a branch ?

Yes you can unlock all the progessions, before you unlock any of the branches.
