OK first a little background about me.
I was 8 y/o when Star Wars first hit the theaters and have been hooked ever since.
Mastered Smuggler Oct 03--was one of the people who pushed for the fix that hasnt happened yet.
I became FS sometime late last year...
and just recently realized that I dont want to play on Lowca because the RP environment that was there is gone and all that is left is the PvPers. I have nothing against these people I would just rather RP than run around trying to prove that mine is bigger than yours, which is how I see PvP and jedi. Unsure of what the transfer rules, I went searching, and finally had to contact the CSR to find the webpage. I learned that FS characters arent allowed to transfer servers. When I asked why I got a I dont know ask the devs.
I have worked on a character that I love playing BUT do to the great evacuation of all the RPers on Lowca I don't anymore... I tested out the RP server and I think that it would be awesome to RP my character there.
Im just curious if I'm alone in this or are there others...

Same here freind, My clan joined this game, I have been playing FFXI for over a year now, they joined, talked me into playing on Eclipse with them, 2 weeks later, I am FS & they have quit lol
I know alot of people on the europe servers, ALOT of people, but i cannot switch because i will loose my FS skills, it's a damn shame, but it's a good thing also.
whats stopping like 100's of Jedi all moving to the same server LOL, but it's still bad for the people who wish to move, but do not wish to give up their skills, it sux.

When you switch you lose all your badges but keep your skills any FS cant be surrendered. I also dont think 100s of jedi would switch to one server because what would the point be other than to PvP and there is enough of that in this game. I want to switch to actually RP. This is after all a mmoRPg... *sigh* well if things dont change Im not staying around playing a game im not having fun with.

Make a RP guild, build a RP city, Make the game more enjoyable for you, If you put your mind to it & advertise, the RP'rs will come to you.

Been there tried that what I got was voted out of office and the city turned into a PvP heaven

You CAN actually switch servers in the game??? If you know, can you point me in a direction to where I might find the info on how to do that? I have a good friend that plays this game (didn't know until a few months ago) but he plays on Kauri and I'm on Bria and I wanted to build a character there, but I've already done so much and don't wanna waste another 3 months grinding to be a Jedi there too. Any info would be appreciated. Thx!

If you have unlocked your FS your in the same boat as me and stuck where you are. If not goto the main SWG site on the left side is a 'transfer character' or 'swith sever' in the list of selections that will lead you to the page you want.
