Thread: Multiple unlocked branches?

When I tire of the rest of the game I know I will go jedi, but hopefully that will not be for at leastsix months to a year. There isso much to do, see and kill.

Question is this: Once I do the quest and unlock a branch, will that affect me unlocking another? Say I unlock a phase one branch and phase one rolls around again - can I unlock another phase one if I haven't completed the first one? Can I unlock them all without having trained in a single fs box?

Also, are there different types of fs xp? i.e., does scouting/politician/combat/merchant/rifle xp all convert to just one type of fs xp?

Yes, you can unlock them without training them. Basically, you can unlock 1 branch per phase, but can take as long as you want to train that branch.

To your second question, there are 4 types of FS experience. Combat, Reflex, Senses and crafting (not 100% sure about the 4th one). Different type of XP will convert into different types of FS XP. Example, combat skills (one-handed, two-handed, polearm, pistols, carbine, rifles anc combat) can convert into Combat prowess XP, or reflex XP, your pick. In my case, i'm a doc, so healing XP can be converted into senses XP.

You can find plenty of guides on what converts to what and to which ratio (weapons XP is 30:1, combat is 3:1, healing is 10:1 etc...)
